GOOD LOOKS FASHION SHOW

My Role

  • Led the development of the fashion show's brand identity and visual system, establishing a distinct creative presence within the larger Good Night for Goodwill Gala experience
  • Partnered with 8-10 local designers to concept and produce 40+ runway looks using exclusively thrifted materials, promoting sustainable fashion and community engagement
  • Directed end-to-end production of the runway experience, including model and designer coordination, makeup and hair, run of show, music, lighting, and emcee scripting in collaboration with event stakeholders
  • Concepted, shot, and produced an editorial lookbook in-house to extend the campaign beyond the live event, amplifying designer work and engaging digital audiences

Impact

  • My team helped shape and execute a high-impact fashion show within the Good Night for Goodwill Gala, contributing to $400K in fundraising for our education, workforce development, job training, and client support programs
  • The 2026 Gala plans to include silent and live auction offerings for styling sessions and custom designs from designers who participate in the fashion show

Good Night for Goodwill Gala - Good Looks Fashion Show

Good Looks Lookbook

The Good Looks Fashion Show is an annual event within the Good Night for Goodwill Gala that transforms thrifted clothing into high-fashion runway pieces, showcasing the creative potential of secondhand goods. Designed to engage an audience of donors, board members, and community leaders, the show plays a key role in supporting the Gala's fundraising efforts, which generated $400,000 in 2025 for education, workforce development, and client support programs. By partnering with local designers and stylists, the event fosters community collaboration while positioning Goodwill at the intersection of sustainability and fashion. Each year, designers create over 40 unique looks using materials sourced entirely from Goodwill stores, reinforcing the organization's mission. Beyond the live runway experience, the show extends into a fully produced editorial lookbook, amplifying its reach across digital and print platforms. Operating with minimal budget and primarily in-house resources, the event demonstrates how strategic creative direction can deliver high-impact brand experiences. Ultimately, the Good Looks Fashion Show elevates Goodwill's brand perception, inspiring both emotional connection and financial support from its audience.
